Electronic Medical Record System
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
Orientation
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions

Candidate Requirements
- Must reside within 100 miles of the facility to be considered
- Driver’s license required for submission
- Only submit candidate to one job at a time
Health & Immunization Requirements
- COVID-19 Vaccine (proof of completed series; religious and medical exemptions accepted with documentation)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or positive titer required prior to start
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer or proof of 3 vaccine series or declination accepted
- Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccinations or positive titer required prior to start
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years; declinations accepted
- Influenza Vaccine: Required October-March; exemptions require approval
- TB Quantiferon Blood Test: Within one year prior to start; annual update required
- Annual Physical or Physician note within 1 year prior to start stating clear to work without restrictions
Background & Compliance
- Background check within 30 days prior to start (7-year county, nationwide criminal, SSN trace, sex offender, SAM, OIG)
- Drug screen within 30 days prior to start (includes multiple substances; marijuana/THC excluded)
- Education and employment verifications required
- Kentucky Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry verification within 30 days prior to start
- Social Security Trace, OIG Search, EPLS, OFAC, SAM, National Sex Offender checks as applicable
Skills & Competency
- Unit-specific skills checklist within one year prior to start; renewed annually
- Competency exams (including EKG and Telemetry) with passing score of 80% or higher within one year prior to start
- Core competencies including HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives; renewed annually
References
- Two professional references required: one charge nurse or higher, one supervisor reference
