Job Opportunity: RN Behavioral Health (LTA)

Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Job Description

• Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health Unit (BHU)
• Preference for candidates available through end of January and first week of February
• Must meet minimum compliance requirements prior to starting
• Full compliance profile to be completed within two weeks after start date
• Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active nursing license verification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications as applicable

Required Immunizations & Health Screenings

• COVID-19: 2 vaccines and booster required or declination completed
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Hepatitis B: Required, declinations not accepted
• Influenza Vaccine: Required (Nov 1, 2025 - Mar 31, 2026), declinations not accepted
• Tdap: Required, declinations not accepted
• TB Test: Within one year of start date
• Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray within 3 months if applicable
• Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed within 60 days of start and state clear to work
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC, completed within 60 days of start
