Travel RN Opportunity – Kennewick, Washington
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Progressive Care/Step Down, Float MedSurg, Float Postpartum
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts required every 2-week pay period
- Call Requirements: Yes

- Department: Progressive Care Unit (Cost Center 6030)
- Floor: 2 North
- Trauma Level: 3
- Number of Beds: 16 private rooms
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 standard, 1:3 for higher acuity patients
- Patient Population: Geriatric and Adult
- EHR System: Paragon (McKesson)
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must have ACLS training or rhythm interpretation course)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty nursing
- Float Requirements: Must be able to float between Progressive Care, MedSurg, and Postpartum units
- Skills/Experience Must-Have:
- EKG/Cardiac Monitoring
- Respiratory assessment and support
- Medication titration
Common Diagnoses/Treatments
- Alcohol detoxification (ETOH detox)
- Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis/Hyperosmolar Hyperglycemic State (DKA/HHS)
- Cardiac conditions
- Gastrointestinal issues
- BIPAP management

- Facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds
- Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
