Position Details

• Number of Beds: 16 private rooms
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 standard, 1:3 for higher acuity patients
• Patient Population: Geriatric and Adult
• EHR System: Paragon (McKesson)

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse License
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must have ACLS training or rhythm interpretation course)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty nursing
• Float Requirements: Must be able to float between Progressive Care, MedSurg, and Postpartum units
• Skills/Experience Must-Have:

  • EKG/Cardiac Monitoring
  • Respiratory assessment and support
  • Medication titration

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• Alcohol detoxification (ETOH detox)
• Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis/Hyperosmolar Hyperglycemic State (DKA/HHS)
• Cardiac conditions
• Gastrointestinal issues
• BIPAP management

• Located in the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland), southeastern Washington
• Facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds
• Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
