Travel RN - CVOR

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Job Description

• Provide quality, compassionate care by maintaining professional nursing standards and fostering positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Circulate in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Provide leadership by supervising and supporting team members including LPNs, PCAs, Ultrasound Techs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff.
• Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours weekly), every other weekend, holidays as required.

Requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• NURSYS registration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (or Red Cross equivalent)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required; will consider 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license.
• At least 1 year experience specifically in CVOR or related specialty.
• Years of experience in specialty: 2 years (defaulting to higher requirement)

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required
