Travel RN - CVOR
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Provide quality, compassionate care by maintaining professional nursing standards and fostering positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Circulate in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- Provide leadership by supervising and supporting team members including LPNs, PCAs, Ultrasound Techs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff.
- Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours weekly), every other weekend, holidays as required.
Requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
- NURSYS registration
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (or Red Cross equivalent)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience required; will consider 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license.
- At least 1 year experience specifically in CVOR or related specialty.
- Years of experience in specialty: 2 years (defaulting to higher requirement)
