Registered Nurse (RN) - Springfield, Vermont (Temp Contract)

Unit and Patient Care

• Adaptive Acuity Unit with occasional Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care at a 3:1 patient ratio (non-negotiable)
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
• 25-bed critical access hospital
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of current Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience (required)
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience (strongly required)
• Charge nurse experience (required)
• Drip experience (required)
• ICU experience (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience (required, non-negotiable; more preferred)
• Small critical access facility experience (preferred)

Certifications and Licenses

• Vermont RN License or Compact License (required)
• American Heart Association BLS (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS (required)

Additional Requirements

• Must have own vehicle
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Skills checklists current to within 1 year for:

  • Progressive Care Unit/PCU
  • Medical Surgical/MS
  • Telemetry/Tele
• Permanent address and any/all Return to Office (RTO) availability must be included in profile
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no scheduling changes after offer

This position requires a highly skilled RN with strong PCU and charge nurse experience, prior travel experience, and flexibility to work across inpatient units in a critical access hospital setting.
