Surgical care knowledge, including robotics

Work Environment & Cases

15 operating suites
55-70 cases per day
Common cases include all procedures with same day and overnight stays
Preop care only for scrubbing RNs

Scheduling & Shifts

Day shifts: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts (6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm)
4 ten-hour shifts (7am-5pm) with 1 weekend day every 4-week schedule
Rotating weekends: 8-hour shift (7am-3pm) on Saturday or Sunday, plus 24-hour on-call coverage on weekend days
1-2 second calls per schedule (24-hour call one day on the weekend from 7am-7am)
Call response time: 30 minutes
No mandatory call/standby requirement

Additional Information

Must include a copy of an unexpired driver’s license with submission
Licensing issues must be disclosed at time of submission
Floating to OR holding area may be required
EMR system currently Sunrise, transitioning to EPIC on April 1
Surgical Center/pre-op specific orientation provided
Scrub color/dress code provided by facility
