Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a Respiratory unit with approximately 140 beds.
  • Patient care includes adults and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) patients.
  • Required to have at least a level 3 skill set in NICU care.
  • Experience with respiratory equipment such as Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1.
  • Documentation system used: Meditech.
  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, including every other weekend.
  • Uniform: All black scrubs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Virginia
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience, including experience within the last year
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
