Travel CST/ORT Position - Lewiston, ME

Job Details

Specialty: CST/ORT (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)
Location: Lewiston, Maine

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Flexible (4x10’s or 5x8’s)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
Call Requirements: 15 days per month, including two weekends of call plus weekday call
Facility Type: Community Hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center
Daily Average Surgical Case Volume: 25
Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Work Setting: Operating Room (OR)
Equipment: DaVinci Surgical System
EHR System: Cerner

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)

Experience Requirements

Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (highest required)
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Scrub technique
Aseptic technique
Experience with bronchoscopes
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Mitral valve replacement
Pericardial window procedures
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
