Job Details

  • Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • Responsibilities include overnight, weekend, and holiday call
  • Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse

Licensure & Verification

  • State Nursing License primary source verification required
  • NURSYS Verification required for RN
  • Education Verification required (highest level of education)

Background & Compliance Checks

  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check upon hire
  • HHS/OIG check upon hire
  • Fingerprinting (time sensitive, required for some locations)
  • Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical Exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
  • Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 1 year
  • TB Questionnaire for positive TB results, renewed annually
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history required
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (Dose 1 and Fully Vaccinated) or approved medical/religious exemption required

Competency Requirements

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% passing score or meet Angoff score)
  • Color Blind Testing (online version accepted)
  • Competency Exam with minimum passing score of 80% or higher if Angoff score is higher
  • Annual Core Testing for subcontractors

  • Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
  • 7-year work history verification required
