Travel RN Opportunity - Carlsbad, New Mexico
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, floating required
Patient Ratio: 1:5
EMR System: MedHost
Scrub Color: Any color allowed
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
- Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS & PALS (preferred)
- Education: Associate's degree and RN certification required
- Additional:
- Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
- Must be able to evaluate patients, plan and document nursing care, assist physicians, perform patient tests, and administer medications within RN scope of practice
- Ability to promote patient independence through education and care planning
- Must be comfortable with a wide degree of creativity and latitude in daily tasks
- Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department
