Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Longview, Texas
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide physical therapy services to help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and prevent disability.
Develop individualized treatment plans using various techniques to promote movement and restore function.
Educate patients on managing or preventing conditions for long-term health benefits.
Work in an inpatient rehab setting.
Required to float within the facility.
Shift: Days, 9 AM - 6 PM.
No on-call requirements.

Requirements

Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Texas licensure.
BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
At least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience.
Experience with EMR Medhost preferred.
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Solid color scrubs required.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Notes

Recent graduates and LPTAs will not be considered.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
