Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Tomball, Texas
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 20
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs (no support staff)
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs (no support staff)
Patient Ratios: 2:1 (low acuity 3:1)
Equipment: Baxter Pumps
EMR System: Expanse

Required Skills & Experience

Specialty: Medical ICU experience required
Procedures Commonly Performed:
- Intubation
- Central lines
- Endoscopy
- Tracheostomy
- Chest tubes
Skill Requirements:
- Ventilator management
- Drip titration
Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Medical ICU)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License

Work Schedule & Environment

Shift: Includes 4 weekend shifts per schedule
