Location: Sanford, North Carolina

Facility & Unit Overview

24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
Patient population: All ages
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Every other weekend / as needed
Call requirements: As needed
Patient ratios: Not specified
Float requirements: As needed

Job Details

Specialty: Medical/Surgical - Telemetry
Number of openings: 1
Required certifications prior to start:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI/HWC/MAB (Crisis Prevention Intervention / Healthcare Worker Certification / Medication Administration)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in North Carolina
Required years of experience in specialty: 2 years (higher value between 1-2 years)
Prior travel experience: Not required
Must have MST (Medical Surgical Telemetry) experience
Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear
Personality fit: Professional
