Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (CVOR) - Travel/Contract

Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (CVOR)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:45 AM - 3:15 PM
  • Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month
  • Holidays: As needed
  • Floating: Not applicable
  • Patient Population: May care for COVID patients
  • Facility Environment: Tobacco and fragrance-free

Experience & Certifications

  • Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
  • Certifications Required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • EPIC Experience: Required

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Background Checks & Verifications

  • 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
  • PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment
  • Education verification of highest degree/diploma/transcripts
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (PA Childline) required within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start; must be finalized prior to start

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days; PPD not accepted
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Vaccines (2 doses) or positive titer required; specific booster requirements apply if titers are negative or equivocal
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required with booster requirements similar to MMR
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel required within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
  • Respiratory Safety Clearance required within 1 year and renewed annually

Competency & Skills

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
  • Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
  • Skills checklist required annually

Documentation & Other Requirements

  • Clear, professional passport-style photo for badge
  • Two professional references within 3 years
  • Most recent resume or employment application
  • Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment
  • Completion of facility-specific documents including:
    • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work
    • Commitment to Health & Wellness
    • Code of Conduct
    • Confidentiality Agreement
    • Non-Employee Affidavit
    • I9 Attestation
    • Documentation Attestation
    • Hepatitis B Declination (if applicable)
    • Safety and Security Vehicle Registration (if applicable)
  • Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules prior to start, including new hire orientation

Additional Notes

  • Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
  • Tobacco and fragrance-free environment; candidates must be notified prior to submission
  • Clinical screening and manager interview required before final approval
