Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)
Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL)
- Number of Beds: 13
- Number of Staff: 30 (RN, CVT)
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (or until all cases are completed)
- Night Shift: On Call
- Patient Ratios: 1:3
- Equipment: Phillips and GE
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, Mac Lab
- Call Requirements: After hours, weekends, and major holidays
- Additional On-call: During the week and every other weekend (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 5 days)
Requirements
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Cardiac Cath Lab)
- Preferred Experience:
- Cath lab experience
- Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced unit
Typical Procedures Performed
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Peripheral procedures
- Structural Heart procedures
- Electrophysiology (EP)
Dress Code
- Scrubs provided by the institution
