Occupational Therapist Travel Position

Location: Morristown, New Jersey

Job Description

• Maintain acceptable visit productivity standards.
• Complete documentation within established time frames and transfer back within 24 hours.
• Document skilled interventions to justify each patient visit per regulatory guidelines.
• Interface with other professionals, students, and families.
• Utilize aides appropriately in delivering care.
• Act as a preceptor to new staff.
• Demonstrate evidence of interdisciplinary communication.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to safety standards.
• Practice appropriate infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families using age-appropriate and culturally sensitive teaching tools and methods.
• Evaluate effectiveness of teaching and revise plans as needed.
• Provide orientation to new employees.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
