Job Opportunity: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (3x12 hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist.
Follow approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
Maintain airways, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and handle blood gases.
Work primarily in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
Minimal NICU and Pediatrics experience required, mainly to cover ED needs.

Requirements

Certification: Must be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, including ICU, general floors, and ED.
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required).

This position is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 1 year of experience looking for a travel assignment in Arizona with a 13-week contract.
