Job Opportunity: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (3x12 hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Follow approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
  • Maintain airways, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and handle blood gases.
  • Work primarily in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
  • Minimal NICU and Pediatrics experience required, mainly to cover ED needs.

Requirements

  • Certification: Must be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, including ICU, general floors, and ED.
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required).

This position is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 1 year of experience looking for a travel assignment in Arizona with a 13-week contract.
