Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department

Contract Details

• Length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Mids (10am-10pm and 12pm-12am, combination of both)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Minimum two weekends per schedule
• Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Department: Emergency Department
• Trauma Level: III
• Beds: 48 with flex space
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 in Main ED, 6:1 in Fast Track
• Patient Population: ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: ESRD, Substance Abuse Disorders, Psychological Disorders, COPD, CHF, Abdominal Pain, Chest Pain
• Equipment: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
• EHR System: Cerner

Position Requirements

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
• Required Education: RN with ADN
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department (preferred)
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation
• Float Requirements: None
• Call Requirements: None

Additional Notes

• Team nursing and Pod System in place
• Social Worker assigned to department
• Unit Educator available
