    Job Details

    • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
    • Total Staffed Beds: 150
    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Floating: No floating between units required
    • On-Call: Not required
    • Block Schedule: Open to Sat-Mon block schedule
    • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
    • Charting System: Epic
    • Parking: Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation

    Required Certifications

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
    • ARRT Advanced
    • California State License (CPDH Certificate required for RTs working in CA)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Current certification by AAP, AHA, or Canadian Paediatric Society
    • Other certifications may be required based on clinical track and specialty verification

    Experience Requirements

    • Specialty Experience: Radiology / Cardiology - Required years of experience not explicitly stated; default to highest standard for specialty (typically 1+ years minimum expected)

      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
      • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
      • COVID vaccine or declination
    • Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
    • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years

    Training & Competency Requirements

    • Completion of Providence-specific WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
      • Core regulatory requirements
      • Specialty-specific modules for Radiology/Cardiology roles
      • Epic training modules (completion required before moving to paid status)
    • Competency exams as applicable by profession
    • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
    • Color blindness testing if required by unit

    Additional Notes

    • No floating between units required
    • Facility allows 1 shift call-off per 2 weeks
    • Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
    • Free parking on first day
    • Must comply with Providence Health and Services policies and procedures
