Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Labor and Delivery
Number of Beds: 10 + 2 OR suites
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Staffing: Charge nurse, 2 RNs, OB tech, unit secretary available
Equipment: Varies
Documentation Systems: CPN and Meditech
Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Floating Policy: To “like units” or to task
On Call: No on call required
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Required Certifications

Intermediate AWHONN
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
STABLE

Job Responsibilities

Care for laboring patient population
Perform procedures including C-section, cerclages, induction of labor, versions, and baby catch

Licensure & Experience

Must have a valid Registered Nurse License (NV License required)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty

Additional Information

Dress code provided by unit
