Job Description

• Assist with Cardiac and Interventional Radiology (IR) interventions as an Angio Tech.
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Call coverage on weekends as needed; approximately every 3rd weekend.

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only.
  • Fluoro Permit.
  • ARRT(R) certification.
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (Radiology/Cardiology).
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
  • Sex Offender Search within 90 days of start.
  • FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start, with monthly updates.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required and updated annually.
• Licenses:

  • State professional license verification required within 30 days of start.
  • Tech certification verification required within 30 days of start.
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start.
  • Fit test within 1 year of start, renewed annually.
  • Immunizations and titers required: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, TB screening, Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
  • Negative drug screen (9 panel) within 6 months of start.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (Nov-April).
  • Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start and renewed annually.
• Other:

  • Employment application with full 7 years of work history, no gaps.
  • References: 2 professional references required.
  • Unit-specific skills checklist required, renewed annually.
