Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Biddeford, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS4)
Number of Beds: 45
Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
- Nights: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
EMR System: EPIC
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36
Call Requirements: 1 call shift in an 8-week block
Shift: Every other weekend

Required Certifications & Education

BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Preferred
Telemetry Certification - Required

Experience Requirements

Minimum Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years
Must have skills/experience in:
- Cardiac care
- Telemetry
- Acute inpatient care
- Medical-surgical nursing

Preferred Experience

Intermediate Care (IMC) experience preferred

Work Environment & Dress Code

Type of Patients: Medical-surgical, cardiac acute inpatient
Scrub Color: Any
Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, earbuds
