Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description
This intermediate-level position involves delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of simple to complex cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized diagnostic, interventional, and surgical cardiovascular imaging procedures using advanced equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness and quality according to protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare technical documentation for physician reporting.
- Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
- Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
- Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology principles, medical imaging, terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and reliably report to work as scheduled.
- Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with confidential information.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under stress.
- Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures related to the specialty.
- Professional communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
- Initiative, commitment, and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Core to intermediate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies, and associated terminology.
- Ability to apply theory and techniques to perform and analyze study data with limited direction.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department.
Education Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher required.
- Must meet one of the following:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty.
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program with emphasis in radiologic technology.
- Completion of a Paramedic training program.
Certifications & Licensure
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification at time of hire,
OR - Completion of Paramedic training program at time of hire.
