Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (L and D RN)

Location: Hoffman Estates, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
  • Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Required Experience

  • Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery

  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics; minimum 80% score, updated yearly)
  • Ascension EKG Exam (minimum 80% score, updated as per latest edition)
  • Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills, updated annually)
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days prior to start, includes 12 specified drugs)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (within required timeframe)

Required Professional Documentation

  • Signed Assignment Agreement
  • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment (agency letterhead, dates must match system)
