Travel RN - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Location: Portland, Maine

Shift: Day shift (07:00 - 19:30)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36 (weekend shifts as needed per unit)
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Will float per unit’s float rotation guidelines

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios:
- Day shift: Goal 1:4, max 1:5
- Night shift: Goal 1:5, max 1:6
Equipment: PLUM, Stryker
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Population: Medical-Surgical including medical telemetry patients

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license for Maine
Certifications: BLS required
Education Modules: Stroke, SI/Restraints, telemetry, blood glucose
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Telemetry specialty
- More than 1 year of prior travel experience required
Skills:
- Inpatient acute medical surgical experience
- Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps

Additional Information

Positive attitude, teamwork centered, flexible and adaptable personality fit
Dress code: No specific scrub color required; attire must meet hospital appearance policy
