Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology

Location: Panama City, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: Friday - Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Unit: Ultrasound
• Equipment used: Logic E10 (brand new), Logic E9, S8, and trophon in exam rooms
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Floating policy: Occasionally float to FSED (Freestanding Emergency Department)
• Procedures performed: Breast, thyroid, liver biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis
• Patient experience requirements: Yes
• Dress code: Black scrubs

Unit Profile

• Number of beds: 2
• Staffing: 3 techs on day shift, 2 techs on second shift
• Certifications required: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Advanced skills needed: Yes (specific advanced skills not detailed)

Requirements

• Certifications: ARRT (S) or ARDMS Certification, BLS
• Years of experience in specialty: 2 years (highest required)
