Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Eureka, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- 150 Total Staffed Beds
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Floating: No floating between units required
- On-call: Not required
- Block Schedule: Open to Sat-Mon block schedule
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- ARRT Advanced
- California State License (CPDH Certificate required for RTs in CA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Current certification by AAP, AHA, or Canadian Paediatric Society
- Other certifications may be required based on clinical track and specialty (e.g., Chemotherapy, EFM, IV Certification, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI, MAB)
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Health Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask Test (N95 or equivalent) required annually; onsite testing available if no recent record
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination accepted
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Flu Vaccine required during flu season or declination accepted
- COVID Vaccine or declination required
- Respiratory Safety Clearance required annually for travel candidates
Competencies and Training
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency Exams required by specialty
- Color Blind Testing if required by unit
- Specialty-specific competency exams (e.g., Medication Aide exam for LTC CNAs in Oregon)
Facility-Specific Training Modules (WorkRamp)
- Core and specialty-specific modules required prior to start and annually
- Modules assigned based on region, profession, and specialty
- Epic training modules required for Epic system users, to be completed within a week of orientation
- Regulatory and trauma-informed care modules required annually for applicable roles
Additional Notes
- Floating Policy: May be required to float to another Providence facility within reasonable distance
- Radiation Badge: Issued by facility if applicable
