Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in Respiratory Therapy
Prior Travel Experience Required: No indication of prior travel experience required
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3 shifts of 12 hours, Days)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
On-Call Requirements: None

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
ACLS (American Heart Association only)
BLS
Virginia State License

Job Responsibilities

Patient assessment and treatment of pulmonary diseases
Pulmonary-related patient education
Use of Epic EMR system (required)

Unit Information

Department: Respiratory Therapy
Number of Beds: 12 ICU beds, 80 beds on general floors
Dress Code: Hunter Green scrubs (per Valley Health dress code policy)

Additional Notes

Facility offers a broad range of services including neonatal intensive care, advanced heart and brain surgery, and comprehensive physical rehabilitation.
No float requirements specified.

This position is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 2 years of experience who are comfortable working day shifts and using Epic EMR.
