Job Description
- Strong neuro experience required, including neuro surgery involving spine and craniotomies.
- Must have surgical experience or have completed a perioperative internship program.
- Typical procedures include orthopedic procedures, general surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, and bariatrics.
- Preferred skills: DaVinci robotic experience and orthopedic experience.
- Unit has 12 operating rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio.
- Work environment values outgoing, confident, friendly team players.
- Weekend call rotation is self-scheduled by staff.
- Scrubs are provided by the department.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification is mandatory.
- Surgical Technician experience within the last year (minimum 1 year).
- Completion of a perioperative internship program or equivalent surgical experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong neuro experience, including neuro surgery involving spine and craniotomies.
Additional Information
- Floating area includes Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for peripheral vascular surgery.
- Shift hours approximately 36 hours per week.
