Job Opportunity: RN - Rehabilitation

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks


Facility Overview

  • 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
  • Focus on treatment and recovery for patients with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs

Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Specialty: Rehabilitation Nursing
  • Number of Openings: 6
  • Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
  • Weekend Hours: 7 AM – 7 PM / 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Patient Ratio: 1:8
  • EHR System: Cerner

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Current RN or LPN license
    • BLS certification
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Skills:
    • Basic computer knowledge
    • Effective verbal and written communication in English
    • Cooperative and team-oriented personality

Patient Population

  • Rehabilitation patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses
