Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 10-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 RN to patient ratio
- Patient population: Adolescent to Geriatric, Level III Trauma
- May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
- Arterial line experience required
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Charge nurse and preceptor abilities are a plus
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
- No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
- No 48-hour guarantee for this assignment
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
Requirements
Licenses/Certifications:
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (highest required years of experience)
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Compliance:
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance and uploaded accordingly
Additional Notes
- No schedule changes or time off requests will be approved after offer acceptance
- Must include permanent address in profile
- Facility is a 169-bed regional referral center in southwestern New Hampshire
- Location offers access to outdoor activities such as hiking and scenic tours
This position is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who are comfortable working nights in a fast-paced trauma setting and who meet all licensing and certification requirements for New Hampshire.
