Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Job Description

• Provide nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Apply the nursing process to patient care.
• Teach patients and their significant others.
• Document patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience: Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown) experience required.
• Acute care hospital experience required.
• Certifications and Oregon nursing license do not need to be active at time of submission but candidate must be willing to obtain them.
• Skills checklist specific to the RN discipline required.
• Resume required.

Additional Information

• 16 hours unbillable.
• Overtime paid at 1.25x.
• Client can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 weeks.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• This position involves night shifts in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
