Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Department: Respiratory Care
Unit Type: 18-bed mixed ICU and general respiratory floor therapy
Number of Beds: 209
Number of Staff: 23
Shift Coverage:
- Day Shift: 1 manager, 4 therapists (target)
- Night Shift: 3 therapists (target)
Patient Ratios: Vary depending on census and acuity
Equipment Used: PB 980, 840, Respironics V60
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (highest required)
Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Post-operative cardiovascular surgery experience

Job Details

Typical Procedures: General respiratory floor therapy including assessment-driven protocols
Personality Fit: Team player, self-motivated, positive, patient-centered attitude
Floating Areas: Coverage across all hospital areas
Dress Code: Scrubs (color/attire not specified)
Weekend/On-call Requirements: Every other weekend; no on-call required
