Cath Lab Technologist - Omaha, Nebraska

Job Details

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (8-hour days plus call)
Call Requirements:
- 1-2 weeknights per week
- 1 weekend per month
- Rotating holidays
- Call response time: 30 minutes
Floating: Yes, may float to other campuses as needed
Orientation: 1-3 days per campus (3 campuses total)

Required Certifications

ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
BLS (AHA)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience (including left heart caths, stent placement, ICD, pacemaker)
Prior travel experience is not required but preferred

Job Responsibilities

Assist MD in cath lab procedures (scrubbing)
Monitoring and documentation during cases
Work with patients diagnosed with CAD, AMI (inpatient and outpatient adults)
Use of EMR and equipment including EPIC, Siemens cath, Siemens sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS

Work Environment & Policies

1 cath lab suite with 1-3 cases per day on average
No clinical involvement outside cath lab duties
Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
Hospital-supplied scrubs required
Supervisor present in lab during shifts
Fixed daily schedule; limited self-scheduling for on-call shifts
Must have a valid driver’s license and live within 50 miles radius
Expected to live within 30 minutes of home campus for call coverage across three campuses

This position is ideal for a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable with a structured schedule, on-call duties, and working across multiple campuses.
