Description
Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Roseburg, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (AHA)
- Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Oregon State License
- Required Certifications: Rad Tech, RCIS or ARRT (CI) or (CV)
- RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT (CI) or (CV) for travelers
Experience Requirements
- Must be able to set up sterile tables and scrub coronary angiogram/interventions, STEMIs, peripheral angiogram/intervention, thrombectomies, various IR cases, and device implants
- Competent in all access site management (groin, radial, drains)
- Knowledge and skills with atherectomy devices
- Experience with Impella and IABP devices

Job Duties
- Primary responsibility: Scrubbing all cases tableside with physician
- May also circulate cases and function as Scrub Tech for groin management
- Procedures include PCI, diagnostic caths, device implants, peripheral/IR cases, IVC filters, etc.
- Operate cath lab equipment (McKesson/GE) for IR procedures performed within the cath lab
Work Schedule & Call Requirements
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) or 4/10s (7:00 am - 4:30 pm)
- On-call every 4th day and 4th weekend
- Call response time: 20 minutes
- Call includes 1-2 weeknights per week (from end of shift until 6:30 am)
- Weekend call from end of shift Friday through Monday 6:30 am every 3rd or 4th weekend
- Holiday call: 1 major holiday and holiday weekend per year
- Mandatory call/standby as described above

This position offers hands-on experience in a busy cath lab environment with a variety of interventional procedures and device management.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oregon
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RCIS or ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV)
