Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health (Travel)

Location: Athens, Tennessee

Position Overview

Role: RN in Behavioral Health unit specializing in dementia patients with behavioral disturbances
Patient Population: Geriatric (50+)
Unit: Behavioral Health Geriatric
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 24
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Medhost

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1+ years in specialty (Dementia with Behavioral Disturbances)
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse License to practice in Tennessee
Must have experience working with dementia patients
Must meet Tennessee Abuse Registry clearance prior to assignment start

Work Environment & Culture

Calm personality fit, able to get along well with others
Dress Code: Solid color scrubs; facial piercings are not acceptable

Additional Notes

Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays
Travel assignment requires candidates to be located 60 miles or more from the facility
No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
