Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Unit: Inpatient Rehab
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 19
  • Staffing Ratio: Approximately 6:1 (patient to staff) depending on census
  • Typical Staff on Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
  • Patient Ratios: 6:1
  • Equipment Used: Mechanical lift, Sara steady, Baxter pumps, Kangaroo pumps
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Skills & Experience

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehab
  • Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty (Rehab/Med Surg)
  • Required Certifications: BLS
  • Licenses: Registered Nurse License
  • Required Skills:
    • Rehab / Med Surg experience
    • IV experience
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Wound care
    • Stroke care
    • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) care

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Floating Areas: CCU, Med Surg, ER
  • Dress Code: Plain color scrubs
  • Schedule: Every other weekend required
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, kind, thorough
