Job Summary

The RN provides clinical leadership within neighborhoods, supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values through clinical services. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating clinical operations to ensure regulatory compliance, promote person-centered care, and support team learning. The RN conducts licensed nursing assessments and coordinates resident care with other nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to clinical staff on specific clinical accountability areas such as infection control, safety, wound management, and RAI process.
  • Guide implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient nursing practices.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, sanitation, staff development, RAI process, and MDS assessments.
  • Support organizational fiscal viability by maintaining appropriate clinical staffing and staffing patterns.
  • Foster collaboration and problem-solving within the household clinical staff.
  • Maintain professional relationships with physicians, medical professionals, and other departments.
  • Demonstrate dementia sensitivity by nurturing care practices that promote individualized, person-centered care and well-being for persons with dementia.

Certifications Required

  • NRP Certification
  • Completed Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Class
  • ACLS Certified
  • BLS Certified
