Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Martin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday, day shift (7:30am - 4pm)
• No on-call or weekends required
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Required Experience: 5 years in specialty (highest requirement found)
• Prior Travel Experience: Required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in Cardiac SPECT and general Nuclear Studies
• Experience with Epic (within the last 12 months, must be detailed on profile), ISCV, GE PACS, and GE Xeleris operating systems
• CNMT certification (ARRT, NMTCB) required
• BLS certification required
• Flu vaccination mandatory; no exemptions accepted

Certifications and Licenses

• CNMT (ARRT, NMTCB)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification as applicable (verify per specialty)
• State License verification required
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty and role

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Transcript/Diploma required for Cath Lab specialty
• Physical exam within one year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start; TB questionnaire updated annually
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (11/1 - 3/31), no exemptions allowed
• N95 Fit Mask test required within one year of start; no PAPR allowed
• EPIC test-out required for all candidates (one attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation)

This position is ideal for experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologists with strong cardiac nuclear imaging skills and recent Epic system experience, who have prior travel contract experience and meet strict compliance and vaccination requirements.
