Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Therapy (Days)

Job Description

• Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
• Unit: Infusion Therapy including Chemotherapy
• Bed Size: 16
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3
• Float opportunities to Methodist & Lutheran infusion centers
• EMR system: EPIC
• Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• On-call pay available

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years infusion/infusion therapy experience in an outpatient, hospital, or medical center setting (24 months required)
• Chemotherapy experience required
• Operating Room experience: 24 months required (per profile requirements)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted only if they have at least 2 years of infusion experience

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Other

• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse/RN discipline required
• Professional references preferred (within last 24 months)
• Valid driver’s license required

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted with sufficient infusion experience.
• Orientation dates available in February.
