Job Opportunity: Technologist - Interventional Radiology (IR) (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation dates available in February and March
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum
• On-call pay: additional hourly rate

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting [Required]
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting [Preferred]
• Experience and proficiency in Endovascular procedures [Preferred]
• 24 months (2 years) of current operating room experience [Required]

Licenses & Certifications

• Iowa Radiology license [Required] (issuance timeline varies if non-active)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification [Required]
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification [Required]
• Valid Driver’s License [Required]

Additional Requirements

• Work history/resume must reflect the required experience
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline (Operating Room Nurse/RN) [Required]
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months [Preferred]
