Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Versailles, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Med/Surg with Swing beds
Unit: 2nd Floor
Number of Beds: 16 Med/Surg, 2 ACU (Light ICU with no vents)
Patient Population: Adult with geriatric mix (No pediatrics)
Patient Ratios: 6:1
Shift: Not specified
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend as needed
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Float 1 to ACU as needed

Requirements

Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Med/Surg specialty (higher experience requirement applies)
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
Education: ADN or higher

Skills & Preferences

Must Have: Med/Surg experience
Preferred: Acute care and some rehab experience
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Lower level acute care, subacute rehab
Personality Fit: Able to handle standard physical work level

Additional Information

Equipment: Standard hospital equipment
EHR System: Medhost
Dress Code: Solid color scrubs (no fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub attire)
