Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Temp, Nights)

Job Description

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.
• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
• Submit/transmit X-Ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams ordered by physicians. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily (16 to 24 times).
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain, but some heavy lifting and maneuvering within facilities is required.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• ARRT certification (required)
• Active Driver’s License (required)
