Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department (Travel)
Location: Georgetown, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Call Requirements: No on-call required
Weekend Shifts: 4 per schedule
Unit Overview
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 23
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT (varies with patient volume)
- Midshift: 4 RNs (varies with patient volume)
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT (varies with patient volume)
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Equipment: Welch Allyn, GE
- EMR System: Meditech
- Permanent Positions Available: None
Required Qualifications
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH Certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience (preferred 2 years)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required
Job Details
- Typical Procedures: Cardioversion, TNK administration, Moderate Sedation
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; other attire not acceptable
- Personality Fit: Team player, flexible, positive demeanor, upbeat
