Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department (Travel)

Location: Georgetown, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Call Requirements: No on-call required
Weekend Shifts: 4 per schedule

Unit Overview

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Number of Beds: 23
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT (varies with patient volume)
  • Midshift: 4 RNs (varies with patient volume)
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT (varies with patient volume)
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: Welch Allyn, GE
• EMR System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: None

Required Qualifications

• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIH Certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience (preferred 2 years)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required

Job Details

• Typical Procedures: Cardioversion, TNK administration, Moderate Sedation
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; other attire not acceptable
