Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (LDR RN) - Nights

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, either directly or indirectly, following the hospital’s patient care philosophy.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years job-related experience in nursing (highest required years of experience)
  • Licensure:
    • Current Rhode Island RN license required and must be maintained
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC acceptable
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification preferred
  • Skills:
    • EPIC electronic medical record experience is mandatory
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must complete fingerprinting in Rhode Island within 30 days of start
    • Completion of various competency exams and skills checklists specific to the facility
    • Proof of immunizations and health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
    • Fit testing for N95 masks within one year prior to start
    • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
    • Background checks including federal, county, national, and statewide with OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM searches within 6 months of start
    • Submission of professional references (minimum one supervisory) and employment verification for the last 5 years
    • Completion of confidentiality agreements and orientation packets prior to start
