Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assist interventional radiologist in all types of interventional radiology procedures using angiography, fluoroscopy, CT, OR, and ultrasound.
Practice radiation and laser safety for patients, staff, and self.
Use sterile technique and function in the first scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care during interventional radiology procedures.
Equipment used includes Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, PACS, and EMR.
Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, during the day on weekdays.
Weekday and weekend call required; will not work alone—nurse and another tech will also be on call.
No floating to other units/departments.
Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
Unit performs a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of hospital Interventional Radiology Tech experience.
ARRT (R) certification.
State of Nebraska Radiology Tech License.
BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Strong neuro and stroke experience is highly preferred.

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
