Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist interventional radiologist in all types of interventional radiology procedures using angiography, fluoroscopy, CT, OR, and ultrasound.
- Practice radiation and laser safety for patients, staff, and self.
- Use sterile technique and function in the first scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care during interventional radiology procedures.
- Equipment used includes Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, PACS, and EMR.
- Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, during the day on weekdays.
- Weekday and weekend call required; will not work alone—nurse and another tech will also be on call.
- No floating to other units/departments.
- Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
- Unit performs a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital Interventional Radiology Tech experience.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- State of Nebraska Radiology Tech License.
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Strong neuro and stroke experience is highly preferred.
