Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

• Unit: MRI Unit
• Equipment: GE 1.5 Tesla, Discovery 450
• Staffing:

  • 2 MRI Techs per shift (Day and Night)
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (MR) Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Preferred but not required: ACLS
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in MRI specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Typical Procedures

• Performing MRI scans to produce detailed images of internal body structures
• No use of X-Rays

Work Environment & Expectations

• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work independently
• No on-call duties, but must be willing to work nights and weekends
• Dress code: All black scrubs required
