Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit: ICU / Step Down
• Number of Openings: Variable
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend, 36 hours
• Call Requirements: Varies based on unit needs
• Float Requirements: Yes, may float to MSU or other units as a resource

Experience & Skills

• Required Years of Experience: 2 years in ICU/Step Down specialty
• Must Have Skills: ICU and Step Down experience
• Preferred Skills: Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Education & Certifications

• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
• Preferred Certifications:

  • PALS (not required)

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 2-3 patients
• EMR System: EPIC

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Solid, any color
• Unacceptable Attire: No prints
