Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Acute MS/rehab nursing experience
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Licensure & Certifications

• Must have a Kentucky nursing license or a compact license valid for Kentucky
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• NIH Certification required (for RN specialties except OR)

Work Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6
• EMR system: Meditech
• Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Float requirements during low census
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• RN must reside within 100 miles of the facility

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• License/certificate verification for KY or compact license
• COVID-19 vaccine proof or approved religious/medical exemption
• MMR vaccination or positive titer proof required prior to start
• Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination accepted
• Annual physical or health statement signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP within 1 year prior to start
• Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years or declination accepted
• TB Quantiferon blood test within 1 year prior to start (annual update required)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start (excluding marijuana/THC)
• Background check within 30 days prior to start including criminal, employment, education, and other verifications
• Kentucky Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry verification within 30 days prior to start
• Specialty job description signed and dated
• ARH Skills Checklist within 1 year prior to start, renewed annually
• ARH Competency Exam with passing score (80% or higher) within 1 year prior to start
• ARH Core Competencies training renewed annually (includes HIPAA, Safety, Infection Control, etc.)
• Two professional references required (one must be a charge nurse or higher, one supervisor reference)
• Assignment confirmation form must be submitted within 24 hours of offer acceptance
