Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: El Paso, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Backfill position in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
On-call required (rotating schedule, including weekends)
Unit includes 3 Cardiac Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Hybrid Lab
Patient ratio: 1:1
EMR system: Meditech
Typical procedures: Cardiac diagnostic, PCI, Impella, Peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, Electrophysiology studies, IABP, Thrombectomy, Implants
Dress code: Royal blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 3 Clinical RNs, and 3 CVTs
Permanent positions available on the unit
Candidates must have Cath Lab experience; those with additional skills in listed procedures will be prioritized
Competitive environment with new equipment and experienced staff
